Mary Vance Miller, 89, passed away Monday, July 17, 2017 at her home in Saltillo. She was born August 4, 1927 in Woodbury, TN, the daughter of James Hall Vance and Elizabeth Jones Vance. Mary’s greatest ambition in life was to be a good wife, a good mother and grandmother. She had many friends and a smile for all she met. She liked to tell people she was the lucky 13th child of her father’s 14 children. Her favorite saying was “I saw a man today who didn’t have a smile, so I gave him one of mine.” Mary was a member of Faith Baptist Church in Saltillo.

Services will be 11 AM Wednesday at the Lee Memorial Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Marvin Murphy officiating. Burial will be in Lee Memorial Park. Visitation will be one hour prior to service time Wednesday. Lee Memorial Funeral Home is entrusted with the arrangements.

Mary leaves behind her husband, Leslie Thomas Miller of Saltillo; her son, Steven Thomas Miller (Christy) of Tupelo; her grandchildren, Leslie Morgan Chrestman (Jeffrey) and Sidney Thomas Miller, jjall of Saltillo, Nichole Irmer (Brian) of Clarksville, TN and Katy White of Tupelo; her great-granddaughter, Presley Irmer; her twin sister, Martha Vance Burns (Bill) and sister Rebekah Vance Wilson, both of Murfreesboro, TN; numerous nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Sam Youree, Sidney Miller, Mike Wilson, and Lee Outlaw.
